West Indies off-spinner Sunil Narine has broken into the top 20 for the first time in the Reliance ICC Player Rankings for ODI bowlers. The 24-year-old from Trinidad claimed 13 wickets in the West Indies recent five-match ODI series against New Zealand, including one five-wicket haul in the final ODI in St Kitts.
Despite having lost the series 4-1, New Zealand's bowlers have some positives to take from the series, with Tim Southee breaking back into the top 20 to now sit 18th in the world after claiming 10 wickets over the course of the series and Jacob Oram is up four places to now sit 14th.
The bowlers' list is still topped by South Africa's Lonwabo Tsotsobe with Pakistan's Mohammad Hafeez in second position.
In the Reliance ICC Player Rankings for ODI batsmen, which is topped by South Africa's Hashim Amla, has seen little movement in the top 20 apart from the positive rise of New Zealand captain Ross Taylor back into the top 20 to 15th place.
Despite two strong performances with the bat in the Jamaica ODIs, Chris Gayle has slipped eight places to 27th after not replicating that form in St Kitts for the final three ODIs.
Meanwhile, West Indies' all-rounder Andre Russell is now 38th in the batting rankings and 10th in the Reliance ICC Player Rankings for ODI all-rounders - both rankings are the highest to date for the 24-year-old from Jamaica. The all-rounders' list is still topped by Bangladesh's Shakib al Hasan.
The Reliance ICC ODI Player Rankings will be updated next at the conclusion of the Sri Lanka v India ODI series.
