Cricket World Cup excitement swept through Leeds as the #CWCTrophyTour, driven by Nissan, visited the city over the weekend.
The mural, which has a unique design for Leeds, will be displayed by Leeds City Square, on Park Row for one week, giving fans the opportunity to win a pair of tickets to England’s clash with Sri Lanka at Headingley at this summer’s Cricket World Cup.
To be in with a chance of winning the ultimate day out at #CWC19, entrants must share a picture of the mural across Twitter and/or Instagram along with #CWC19Leeds. The lucky winner will be contacted by a World Cup representative.
Former England bowler Ryan Sidebottom was on hand to launch the mural, which coincided with one of the Trophy Tour’s stops in the city.
"The tournament provides a great opportunity to showcase the enthusiasm Leeds has for this major sporting event," said Sidebottom.
"The World Cup is a once in a generation opportunity for local people to be part of something really special.
"I want to encourage as many fans as possible to come down and take a picture with the mural to win tickets to an England match at the World Cup. They are favourites and tickets are selling fast so this might be the best chance to witness England in action this summer."
